The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) is an autonomous institution under the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Established in 1942, CSIR is India’s premier national R&D organization, committed to promoting scientific and industrial research to drive economic growth and improve human welfare. It plays a key role in fostering innovation and providing technological solutions to address the country’s diverse and evolving challenges.
