DSIR invites Project Proposals 
from Interested Organizations on the following subject:

Project Title: Compilation of Exportable Technologies/Projects from SMEs - Statewise

Objectives

To compile information on exportable technologies and projects from SMEs and disseminate it through internet, documentation, conferences, etc. with a view to enhance international technology trade. 

Background

The department has undertaken the exercise of compilation of profiles of exportable technologies and projects from SMEs in the country, statewise. Project in respect of Maharashtra has been completed through MITCON Consultancy Services Ltd., Pune in which 23 technology profiles from SMEs in Maharashtra have been compiled. Project in respect of Delhi and NCR has been completed through M/s NAFEN, New Delhi in which 22 technology profiles from SMEs in Delhi and NCR have been compiled. Project in respect of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka is being carried out through APITCO, Hyderabad.

1. The following ‘Grouping of States’ has been adopted.

Tamilnadu & Kerala Project recommended to Pixel Networks
Gujarat & Rajasthan Project recommended to GITCO
Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Bihar & Jharkhand Proposal invited
Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh & Orrisa Proposal invited

2. A Standard Technology Profile Format has been adopted. 

3. Preparation of a Database as per standard adopted structure. 

Methodology

Questionnaire Based Survey followed by Field Survey for preparation of Profiles for each identified region.

Output

Budget

Budget details shall include cost towards Manpower (specifying mandays), Travel, Office Overheads, Organisation of 2 Project Review Committee Meetings, Report Preparation, Printing, etc.
