The matters pertaining to the APCTT under ESCAP were dealt with the cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Ministry of External Affairs. The Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR) continues to play the role of focal point for the APCTT. DSIR played an active role in the governing of APCTT and on issues related to programmes and policies.
