With regard to arrangement for consultation or representation by the members of the public, DSIR web site act as an interface between the department and public.

Mechanism available through Email and a Link for 'Comments/Feedback' is available on the DSIR Website. 

Apart from this, DSIR organizes various conferences / workshops / exhibitions where members of the public can share their views and give inputs. The details of such events are available under Forthcoming Events.
