Technology/Process Description:
Addisons Paints and Chemicals Ltd. is a leading
manufacturer of Architectural and Vehicle Finishing Paints. The process of
manufacturing is as follows.
Mixing of
Resin, Pigment, diluents and additives followed by colloidal dispersion by sophisticated
Ball Mill, Attritor and special mill like sand mill and (or) Dyno Mill followed
by stabilization .Finally make up and
lab approved for filling.
Technology/Product Specifications:
Source of technology: - Initially paint was manufactured under the trade name of
“Spartan and Trojan” by Hardie Trading Ltd. (Australian company). This
Australian collaboration ended in 1963. After that product was renamed under
the name of Duraflex Synthetic Enamels by in-house technology
Areas of application: - The product finds extensive use in following areas (in order
of preference): -

non-ferrous metal like aluminum, Galvanized pretreated sheets

types of wood objects

Masonry
surfaces like wall, floor, etc
