Consultancy Development Centre (CDC) is an autonomous institution promoted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India since 1986. CDC’s main objective is to promote and develop the consultancy profession in the country and abroad.

CDC has made significant strides in emphasizing the need for effective use of consultancy in various departments. Consolidating its position as a Centre for promoting consultancy, CDC offers a vast range of services to consultants-augmenting skills, creating a platform for interaction, disseminating valuable information, enhancing business opportunities etc.

Mission 

To be the National nodal point for the development and promotion of consultancy.

Objective 

To strengthen consultancy capabilities and promote services, enhance consultant-client interaction and act as a policy facilitator.
